Steel foundations for onshore wind power plants

A strong base for onshore wind towers

Built-in part foundations serve as anchorage for wind power plants in the foundation. Built-in part foundations are the connection between the foundation in the ground and the wind tower on top.

Each built-in part foundation consists of a rounded steel plate with a welded flange on top (also called tower pin flange) and a bottom flange (also called stand flange). The plate itself has drilled holes all around it. The reinforcement is installed by using these holes before the concreting is done.
